1. What we collect

Account information: your email address and authentication credentials.

Care-coordination data you choose to add: care profiles, medications, conditions, care notes, schedules, family contacts, and conversation logs created by templates you activate.

Template configurations: the instructions, tools, and boundaries you set in Care Builder.

Usage information: how you interact with the platform, used to keep the service reliable and improve it.

2. How we use it

To operate the service — running the templates you activate, generating the drafts and summaries you request, and delivering the notifications you approve.

To keep care data scoped: templates only access the fields and tools you grant them. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private care data to advertise to you.

3. AI processing

When a template runs, the care context you granted it is processed by AI models to produce the requested output. AI output is drafted for human review — actions like sending messages require the approvals you configure.

We do not use your private care data to train models for other customers.

4. Sharing

Within your Family Circle, data is visible according to the roles and permissions your circle configures. Published marketplace templates include their configuration but must not contain personal care data.

We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the platform (hosting, model inference), under confidentiality obligations, and with authorities only when legally required.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to care data is scoped by role and permission. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage strong passwords and careful sharing within your circle.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your private templates and care data are deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

8. Children

Kin-Keepers.ai is for adults coordinating care. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes to this policy before they take effect.
